Summary
Ashikaga Yoshimitsu was an unsuccessful Shogun because during his 36 year reign there weren't many recorded historical events. Also he became a Shogun when he was 10, allowing people to think that he was young and didn't know anything about being a Shogun. He gave the leadership over at a very young age as he probably sensed that he wasn't doing a very good job at being a Dictator. He was Brave and Merciless, but thats all he was, a man that goes to war and kills. Thats not a very good legacy to leave behind. He was basically a rich man with nothing to look for. He was nice in a way as he gave for all the people that were poor and underprivileged people. He Ashikaga Yoshimitsu was a good man but unsuccessful during his 36 year Shogun Life.
